Golden Ages Simulations is proud to present our Brunner Winkle Bird package for FS2004. The Brunner Winkle Corporation was established in Glendale, Queens in 1928. The first type of plane the company produced was the Model ‘A' Bird (seen here), which was powered by World War One surplus Curtiss OX-5 engines, and sold for $3150. At the end of 1929 Brunner Winkle introduced the Model ‘B' Bird, with the more powerful Kinner B-5 engine. In 1929 Elinor Smith set a new world endurance record in a Bird and in 1930 Charles Lindbergh purchased one to teach his wife to fly as he admired the Bird's flying qualities. Of the 220 Birds built, about 70 survive. Model by Paul Corish and Gil Halpin (with their permission).

de Havilland DH82a Biplane for Fs2002/Fs2004 (Released as freeware) This classic British trainer made its first flight on October 26, 1931. It is one of a number of models of light aircraft named for moths in recognition of designer Geoffrey de Havilland's interest in moths and butterflies. It became popular with air forces throughout the United Kingdom as well as the civilian aviation market. In Britain, 8,101 were manufactured plus 2,751 more in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. During WWII, most Royal Air Force pilots trained in Tiger Moths including Americans who flew with the Eagle Squadrons before the U.S. entered the war. 1934 Pietenpol Air Camper and 1937 Stinson SR-9C for Fs2004 The Stinson Reliant (Stinson SR-10 Reliant "Gullwing") was a four-to-five seat commercial monoplane which was the brainchild of E.A. "Eddie" Stinson, and was designed for private operators and small charter companies. It was the the last model produced by his company before it was bought out in the late 1930s. It was regarded as a strikingly handsome airplane - with its distinctive gull wing - and was known for its ease in handling and its ability to carry four to five people in comfort. Albatross DIII (OAW) Collection: Model by Stuart Green This model is for use with Microsoft Flight Sim 2004 (FS9) and was made using Abacus Flight Sim Design Studio v2.24. This is a multi res model with several animations. Features include 20 colour schemes (see below) Detailed engine with animated parts. Use the Spoiler key to reveal more of the engine. All moving control wires within Virtual Cockpit. Can be started from cold within Virtual Cockpit by using gauges. Travel Air for Fs2004 The first production Travel Air B established such a good reputation in the First National (Ford) Air Tour in 1925 that the company sold 19 the same year. In 1928 the model B was designated the Model 2000. Orders increased until 1930, when Model 2000 production ceased, with 1,550 built. One of the classic aircraft of the late 1920s it is not surprising that the Travel Air was a good airplane considering that Walter Beech, Clyde Cessna, and Lloyd Stearman were all involved in its design and production. This is a wildly beautiful model of one of the most unique racing aircraft ever built...This model was the Feature CD download for PCPilot in the Sept. 2006 issue of the magazine and they were so impressed with Warwick and Garry's model that the artwork was even used for the Cover of the Magazine.
