EDHI Fly-In

Over this last weekend, the skies above Hamburg, Germany were very busy, and so was the Multiplayer Server! The first ever (as far as we know!) Fly-In/Plane Spotting event took place on Farmboyzim's Multiplayer Server! The credit for the idea goes to OldFly1, a frequent visitor to the server skies. OldFly1 provided many links to sceneries, aircraft, and something very cool and unique, a virtual "plane spotter" named, "The Dude"! You can see him in the image to the left, hanging out in a lawn chair, with all the necessities of a plane spotter’s life! Including an ice chest! Basically, he loads like an aircraft, except you're not! Got it? Good! It put a very different spin on the Fly-In event, and I thank OldFly1 for turning us on to it! Danke! The event took place at OldFly1's home airfield, Finkenwerder EDHI. Some of the work on the Airbuses is performed at this location. The scenery work was very nice and a major improvement over the default EDHI scenery. Make sure to read all the credits in the file download so you know who to give the kudu’s to! There's far too many to list here, but a BIG THANKS for creating these great freeware addons!

Lots of different aircraft showed up, along with Emergency vehicles! A good thing too!!! Once again, I want to state that it's great meeting all you folks from around the world, being, as my wife so kindly puts it, my "little flying friends"! :-) I truly enjoyed flying this weekend, and meeting some new folks! I think OldFly1's idea has taken hold here at Farmboyzim's! Watch for news of future Fly-In's on the site. If you would like to "host" a Fly-In, just let me know, and we'll put it together! This is why I created the site! For you folks out there (and me!) to use, and I thank all of you who do!!!
